2010 is well underway, and with the launch of the Google Phone, Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Pureness and Motorola’s DEXT, it seems that the ‘Teenies’ will be characterised by the quest for the ultimate ‘Smart Phone.’
But what about the noughties? At the start of the decade it was colour displays that got us excited, now, ten years on, it’s all about applications and open source. So which phone really changed the landscape of business telecommunications in the last decade?
As with most things, to know where we are going we first need to establish where we have been. Over the coming weeks, we will chart the ten most influential handsets of the noughties and question how evolving technology and customer demands will change what we want from a business mobile in the next decade.
