
Credit where it’s due.
We started the year in great style by being shortlisted in the Customer Service Category of the prestigious industry Mobile News Awards, which acknowledge the best products, services, innovations and companies in the UK mobile communications industry. Following our customer survey in 2006, we hope that you noticed the improvements and enjoyed the positive developments we made to our Customer Service over the past year. This formed the basis of our submission – our commitment to implement change and meet our customers' needs. Dinner suits and cocktail dresses were dusted off for the Awards ceremony and gala dinner at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London. There can only be one winner on the night, and although our name wasn’t called, it was a tremendous achievement for us to get to the finals and to be picked out amongst many of the industry leaders and household names.
More recently we were also one of four finalists in the Business of the Year Category at the 2007 Citizen and Gloucestershire Echo Business Awards. Recognised as a flagship company, we were able to demonstrate our success over the past twelve months in areas ranging from growth in turnover and trading profit, to staff development and our commitment to develop new markets, services and products. It was again an outstanding accomplishment for us and a real testament to the extent we have grown as a company since winning the Small Business of the Year category of the same awards in 2003.
