

Why change YourView?
As Total has grown over the years, so has the amount of invoices we
produce! With pressure on all of us to be more environmentally friendly,
as well as our continual commitment to improve our services it became
clear that an alternative method of sending our invoices out would prove
beneficial to us but more importantly to you, our customers.
Following consultation to find out what you were looking for, an online
platform was thought the best way for us to move forward. However, we
needed something different from standard reporting, which seemed to be a
very common theme with existing online tools. In order to offer the
functionality you required we decided to create our own unique offering,
and the rest as they say, is history.
Many of you are already familiar with the benefits of YourView and have
seen just how useful it can be. For instance, the advanced reporting
functionality and the ability to display monthly bills from different
sections within your account are just one useful aspect. It also means
you have greater control and interaction with your monthly reports,
something exclusive to Total customers.
Although YourView, has been live for over a year now and your feedback
has been very positive, we have nonetheless been keen to expand the
platform further and improve your usage experience. As a result, in line
with our re-brand we have updated the look of the site, to offer a
clearer view and have worked closely with many of you to offer bespoke
aspects. It is now possible, for example, to apply individual cost
codings to reports, enabling data to be exported from the website, into
excel and then into an internal accounts package. The ability to see
data for an entire year, amend usernames, change cost centres, search an
individual user’s data, log personal calls and set up individual site
log-ins are all huge new benefits of the platform, which we hope to
develop even further in time.
As more of you have started to use and rely on YourView each month, we
have looked to increase the efficiency by moving the platform to a new
server. This has not only improved the site’s speed, but has also
enhanced the functionality, such as enabling compatibility with Firefox,
the ability to view itemised bills from the graph screen and allow CSV
files to be created for large itemised statements.
YourView has so many features to offer, all enabling you to quickly
analyse your account and, as a result, save you time and money. With
this in mind, our ultimate goal is for all of you to experience the
benefits and flexibility of the platform. That said, now more than ever we
value your comments and along with a new help function, you can now also
send us your feedback via the site itself.
