Following the success of our Mobile Data for the Legal Profession event
in 2007 we update you on where you can join us over the next twelve
months to learn more about what’s new in the world of mobile, voice and
data.
It’s just over a year ago that we held our first event for the legal
industry, at Edgbaston, which focused on the role of mobile data devices
specifically within the legal sector. Our partners Research in Motion,
PaperIQ and BigHand joined with us to showcase the experience we had
developed within the legal sector.
Since then, our focus on your needs as a sector has been constant. In
fact, a number of you are now customers and our name has become familiar to
many more of you, as we make it our aim to become the legal industry’s
number one service provider. With this in mind, it seems the right time
for us to update you on where you can catch up with us.
Recently, we were present at the BigHand User Conference, which took
place this year on the 18th September at the Cumberland Hotel in London.
It’s the second time we have attended the event, as BigHand’s preferred
telecoms partner. With the mobility aspect of the BigHand 3 digital
dictation having undergone further enhancements and gaining popularity,
it was a great opportunity for users to facilitate their mobile data
provision. RIM (the BlackBerry manufacturer) were also present this year
and as a RIM Alliance Partner we worked closely with them too, and hope
that if you attended you came to say hello.
Moving on to 2009, in conjunction with our partner O2, we have already
booked our stand at the two-day Legal IT Show at the Islington Business
Design Centre in London during February. The show is considered to be
Europe's premier software and services event for the legal profession,
where you can meet the industry’s leading suppliers under one roof and
fulfil your legal IT needs. We’re looking forward to seeing you there.
We are also hoping to host two legal events of our own, again with
selected partners relevant to your sector. The first will be in early
Spring and will take place in Manchester, and of course, we are looking
at a return to Edgbaston in the Summer for another event combined with a
cricket match. Who knows it could even be the npower Ashes Series!
As we said the coming year is going to be eventful, so do look out for
us.
